50. The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien
RETURN OF THE KING. EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC. So good. LOTR, I love you.
Do I even need to talk about this book?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!? It's awesome. You need to read it. That's all that needs to be said!
But I'll say more.
GAHHHHHH I LOVE HOBBITS. AND FUCKING GANDALF. AND. FUCKING. J.R.R. TOLKIEN. YOU ARE AWESOME. I CAN'T TALK ABOUT THINGS THAT I LOVE IN A CALM UNCAPS MANOR. SDKGJDSKGJDSJGDSKJGADSJG. FREAK OUT. FREAK OUT. FREAK OUTTTTUUTT.
Pull it together, Kristen.
Hah. Return of the King was SO GOOD THOUGH.
Let me discuss one thing though...the MOVIE. FUCK THE MOVIE. The book is way better. Why the hell did the LOTR movies get so much hype? K, that's a dumb question. They're awesome movies. But they're not awesome compared to the books. I always say this. It's always so true though. I watched the movie and I was like..ummm......this is a shame. This is a BLOODY SHAME. A DISGRACE TO THE BOOK.
LMFAO. I need to click "publish post" and move on cause this is getting nowhere.
QUOTES. LOTR QUOTES.
I love LOTR quotes.
There are way more but I can't fucking quote the whole book.
Because the whole book is good.
And a shitload of it is quote-worthy.
So..yeah..!
"Where will wants not, a way opens."
"'Do you remember that bit of rabbit, Mr. Frodo?' he said. 'And our place under the warm bank in Captian Faramir's country, the day I saw an oliphaunt?'
'No, I am afraid not, Sam,' said Frodo. 'At least, I know that such things happened, but I cannot see them. No taste of food, no feel of water, no sound of wind, no memory of tree or grass or flower, no image of moon or star are left to me. I am naked in the dark, Sam, and there is no veil between me and the wheel of fire. I begin to see it even with my waking eyes, and all else fades.'"
